Million Little is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that empowers and supports the healing process of children and their families who have experienced trauma through the power of creativity.
Incarcerated teens, foster youth, those in poverty and those suffering from violence/adversity are all part of the population that Million Little serves.
At Million Little, our mission is to achieve the following goals:
Share the social-emotional benefits of creative expression and its positive impact and potential for improving public health, without the hurdle of overcoming the stigma of therapy.
Foster creativity and mindfulness in communities and children who are unable to receive it in other ways, or who are deeply in need, due to special circumstances.
Identify and develop sustainable/creative strategies communities can use to cultivate the relationship and environments in which children can thrive and reach their full potential.
Operate as a research laboratory to heal, transform, and empower global communities through creative education and training.
Disseminate insights to ignite meaningful and sustainable change in the community.
Cultivate compassion and empathy in children and adults.
